Sunbelt Design & Development Inc (SDDI) has been in business for over 25 years. Sunbelt was founded in the late 1980s by Ruben Solis and Tim Midlane. Originally aimed at the commercial prototype and computer aided drafting (CAD) markets, Sunbelt soon began to focus on manufacturing build-to-print contracts for the San Antonio Air Logistics Center (SA-ALC). Sunbelt now supports all USAF ALCs, NAVSUP, AMCOM and DLA. Sunbelt was SBA 8(a) certified from 1990 to 1999, and has been SBA Hubzone certified since the program was introduced in 1999.
