    Daniel Wheeler is President and a Director of Sunbelt Design &Development. He oversees the strategic direction and operations of Sunbelt and ensures that Sunbelt consistently delivers on its commitment to helping customers achieve their goals.

    Prior to leading Sunbelt, Daniel served as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force where he led airman in the United States, Europe, Southwest Asia and Africa. During his time in the Air Force, Daniel was deployed to the 332 AEW for Operation Inherent Resolve, the operation launched to eliminate ISIS, served in the operations directorate of U.S. Air Forces Europe and Air Forces Africa, which oversees all joint air force operations in the European and African theaters, and closed his time on active duty on the command staff of Air Education and Training Command with a finance and acquisition portfolio covering all facets of basic military training and technical training pipelines. Daniel is a recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal with oak leaf cluster, and the Air Force Achievement Medal.

    Daniel holds a B.S. in economics from the University of Houston, an M.A. in International Relations from St. Mary’s University, and studied Farsi, Dari,
    and Tajiki at the Critical Languages Institute at Arizona State University and the Master School of Foreign Language in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.

    Daniel enjoys spending time with his wife, Nicole, and their three children. During his free time, he is an avid musician, bow hunter, and fly fisherman.

    Craig Zysk, Vice President Global Sales & Marketing, joined Sunbelt Design & Development in 2021. Craig is responsible for the sales and marketing of Sunbelt’s products and capabilities to both military and commercial customers across the global aerospace and defense industry.

    Craig has more than three decades of experience in the aerospace and defense industry. Prior to joining Sunbelt, Craig served as Director of Global Sales with TRU Simulation & Training, a Division of Textron Aviation., where he worked closely with fixed and rotary wing customers across both military and commercial markets.

    Previously, Craig served as Vice President Business Development with Frasca International and prior to that as COO of Rotorsim Srl, a Division of AgustaWestland Helicopters in Sesto Calende, Italy. Craig began his career at Sikorsky Aircraft where he had a 20-year tenure across several divisions, including eight years as a member of the senior leadership team in the overhauland repair division.

    Craig earned a B.S. degree from Francis Marion College and a M.B.A. from Sacred Heart University. He is a member of the USHST (US Helicopter Safety Team) and has served on the ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization).

    Craig enjoys spending time with his wife, Marylee, and their three children. During his free time,Craig is an avid runner, completing more than 20 marathons, including three Boston marathons, and he enjoys officiating college and high school basketball, which he has been doing for more than 37 years and was selected as a top high school official in the State of Connecticut.
